This is where the 10mm toughened glass sits in a groove in the handrail and baserail and secured using a clear silicone. Sometimes this is not recommended when two pieces of glass are very close to each other as this can be hard to clean in between. Once fixed, the glass is not removable.
This is where the 17.5mm toughened laminated glass is frameless and is secured using an aluminium base shoe channel. This is usually fixed down to the floor on landing areas where bolted or sandwich can’t be used. If you don't like the look of the base shoe, we can clad it to match your chosen staircase material. This can be used as glass alone or glass with a handrail fixed on top.
This is where the 17.5mm toughened laminated glass is frameless and is secured to the side of the stringer using bolts. If you prefer a more minimalist look, we can cover the bolts with a wooden fascia to match the staircase. This can be used as glass alone or glass with a handrail fixed on top.
This is where the 10mm toughened glass is secured using either a D-shape or square metal clamp fixed to the handrail and baserail. This is often recommended if the glass needs to be removed for any reason, i.e. cleaning or painting behind.
